SimpleOCR

Avoid retyping with the SimpleOCR freeware document scanning and optical character recognition (OCR) software. SimpleOCR converts scanned pages to text that can be searched or edited in a word processor. Supports any TWAIN scanner and recognizes text in English, French or Dutch. A royalty-free SDK version is available for developers. A 15 day demo of SoftWriting handprint recognition software is also included in the download.
